In the summer of 2021, as the world emerged from the pandemic, Francis Maere Fine Arts Gallery collaborated with several esteemed galleries to inaugurate the Let’s Get Out Festival. This initiative aimed to rejuvenate the cultural scene by establishing an art route that connected the historic Goed te Réables farmstead with the picturesque Ooidonk Castle. The festival showcased works from over 30 prominent Belgian artists, including Arne Quinze, Jan Fabre, and Koen Vanmechelen, offering visitors a diverse artistic experience. Complementing the visual arts, culinary delights were provided by the pop-up restaurant A(g)Réables, orchestrated by the renowned chefs of Douglas & Boxy’s.
